The tribe’s leader, Baba Voss (Jason Mamoa), marries the woman, who gives birth to twins who are able to see.
The story begins when a pregnant woman arrives at the camp of the Alkenny Tribe seeking a safe haven. Not only has the world become one where everyone has survived without the ability to see, but sight is now considered to be a curse, not a gift bestowed upon those who possess it. Set far in the future, the ability of sight has been lost by all survivors of a 21st-century virus that wiped out most of humanity. While critics have not been kind to this Jason Momoa-led sci-fi drama, viewers seem to be all for it.
